COD to Collect Donations, Supplies to Help Hurricane Harvey Survivors

College of DuPage will lead several initiatives to help survivors of Hurricane Harvey, including a partnership with the Illinois Community College System Foundation for Harvey HELP and a supply rally that will be held from noon to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 12, on the College's Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

A blood drive also will be held on campus from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, in the Student Services Center, Room 2201.

College of DuPage has partnered with the Illinois Community College System Foundation to collect financial donations for community college students in Houston. The funds will be donated to the Texas Association of Community Colleges Harvey HELP Fund for emergency student-aid programs that will help students and their families stay or quickly get back on their higher education pathways.

During the rally at the College on Sept. 12, donations of supplies, necessities and clothing will be collected for students of the Houston Independent School District to help them return to their lives and studies.
