Lawsuit filed in crash that killed Sugar Grove man
A wrongful death lawsuit is filed against an Oswego man seeking damages for a Feb. 15, 2013, crash in Batavia that killed David Schele, 61, of Sugar Grove. Craig Schindlbeck was ticketed for failure to yield but is fighting it in court and is set to go on trial in early July.Last Updated Jun 17, 2013 5:19 PM -

Hitchhiking kitten finds home with Oswego family
Updated Jun 13, 2013 3:53 PMKane County animal control authorities say a kitten is now up for adoption, almost three weeks after it survived a 300-mile journey inside a semitrailer’s air cleaner. The black kitten is about four months old and has been named “EB,” short for “engine block.”
