Residents Tour Neighborhoods with Mayor Ruben Pineda and 95.9 The River's Danielle Tufano
Mayor on the Move segment features three West Chicago residents
West Chicago Mayor Ruben Pineda was "on the move" last week touring three of the community's neighborhoods with radio personality Danielle Tufano of 95.9 The River. The drive-around was part of a campaign to highlight the diversity of housing styles, neighborhood amenities and community pride among residents.
A dash cam captured all the fun when three residents jumped in the backseat at various stops along the tour to point out special features of their neighborhood and generally to share their pride and enthusiasm for where they live.
Bob Mireault, Mike Horsely and Britta Renwick, each from a different part of town, provided their unique perspectives for loving their community. Among them were the diversity, the small town feel, and the emphasis on the arts. Also, there was unanimous agreement that the people of West Chicago make it such a great place to live.
