Applications Now Accepted for 2017 COD Distinguished Alumni Awards

The College of DuPage Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2017 Distinguished Alumni Awards.

The Distinguished Alumni Awards program recognizes former College of DuPage students who have forged notable careers and have attained outstanding achievements. Click here to watch the 2016 Distinguished Alumni Awards Ceremony.

"For the past three years, the awards have showcased our alumni by showing how they built upon their experiences at College of DuPage to forge successful careers," said Karen Kuhn, Executive Director of the College of DuPage Foundation and Assistant Vice President of Development at COD. "The most rewarding part of this program is watching our alumni return to the classroom to share their experiences with our current students."

Applications for the 2017 program are due by Friday, Feb. 10. To qualify for the honor, candidates must have completed 30 or more credit hours, a certificate program and/or an associate degree prior to the year 2002, and they must have achieved notable career and/or outstanding life achievements.

Nominations are also sought for the Outstanding Recent Alumni Award, introduced in 2016 as a way to honor alumni who completed 30 or more credit hours, a certification program and/or an associate degree within the past 15 years (between 2002 and 2017).

All award recipients must be available to attend the induction ceremony at College of DuPage on Thursday, Nov. 9, as well as participate in a student engagement session.
