College of DuPage to Host Transfer Summit for Education Professionals Feb. 17

College of DuPage will host a Transfer Summit for education professionals from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, in the Student Resource Center, Room 2000, on the College's Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

Sponsored by the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling (IACAC), this event provides an opportunity for high school counselors, community college and four-year university admissions staff members, advisors and transfer coordinators to gather and discuss important trends regarding transfer students.

Presentations will cover articulation agreements, special admissions programs and best practices for counseling students about the transfer process. Breakfast and lunch are provided and ISBE PD hours are available.

The entry fee is $40 for IACAC members and $50 for non-members. Please click here for more information and to RSVP.

College of DuPage is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Serving approximately 27,000 students each term, College of DuPage is the largest public community college in the state of Illinois.
