Carmel Catholic hosts Edcamp Lake County

Carmel Catholic High School invites educators, and all those who are interested in education, to Edcamp Lake County from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, at Carmel Catholic High School, 1 Carmel Parkway, Mundelein.

Edcamps are a professional development opportunity for educators that are hosted throughout the United States and internationally. The vision of Edcamp is to create a network of educators dedicated to participant-driven, professional development that enhances student learning. Edcamp participants will drive the topics and steer the conversations throughout the day.

Carmel Catholic is the first Catholic school in Illinois to host an Edcamp open to the public. For more information, or to register for this free program, visit www.edcamplakecounty.weebly.com.
