Clearbrook Cuisine Curbs Suburban Appetites

On Tuesday, October 21st, Clearbrook turned the beautiful showroom of Arlington Toyota-Scion in Palatine into a decadent food-filled wonderland for the 6th annual Around the World Food Tasting presented by Meijer. Over 300 foodies supported Clearbrook as they sampled diverse cuisine from 16 of Chicagoland's favorite local restaurants. Among these restaurants were Brazil Express Churrasco Grill, Circa 57, Coffee Planet, Copper Fiddle Distillery, Gianni's Café, Lou Malnati's Pizzeria, Mago Grill & Cantina, Miss Dottie's Pound Cake, Old Crow Smokehouse, Pear Tree Catering, Pinstripes, Pure Juice Café, The Ram Restaurant & Brewery, Something's Cooking Catering, and Sweet T's Bakery & Cake Studio.

This year's cake walk, the newest addition to the event, had participants playing a game similar to musical chairs to win artistically decorated cakes from local bakeries. Other entertainment for the night included the ever-so-popular "Pick-A-Card" game, a raffle for a one-week getaway, and a silent auction.

"We have enjoyed opening our showroom to Clearbrook and its supporters for the food tasting for the last five years", said Scott Vicari, Vice President of Arlington Toyota Scion. "It's fun for our employees as well as customers shopping for cars. We strongly believe in Clearbrook and its mission and this is our way of showing our support."
