Annual Turkey/Meat Spin Fundraiser To Benefit Local Charities

The South Elgin Lions Club's Annual Turkey Spin will be held on Friday, November 22nd. The doors open at 6 pm and the first spin is at 7 pm. Among the items to be raffled are turkeys, spiral ham, roasts, pork loins, and steaks. There will be two special meat raffles for steak bundles and one lucky loser will receive the Loser's Basket which consists of a complete Thanksgiving Dinner. Tickets for each spin costs $1 each are purchased throughout the entire evening. If you bring in a nonperishable food item for our Holiday Food Basket Project, you will receive 1 free ticket for our Special Meat Raffle (limited one per person). All net proceeds raised by this fundraiser benefits our Club and helps spread Holiday Cheer to local organizations assisting residents in this area.
