More than 35 Culver's restaurants throughout Chicagoland will team with LifeSource, Chicagoland's Blood Center, for a summertime "Give a Pint, Get a Pint" blood drive. Participating restaurants will host blood drives between July 1 and September 1. All participating donors will receive a complimentary pint of Culver's famous frozen custard, while participants who pre-register to donate will also receive a complimentary Culver's value basket.

"Blood donations are typically at their lowest levels during the summer months, and that also happens to be when there is a great need for blood," said Kevin Weasler, a Chicago area Culver's owner/operator. "Through the efforts of participating Chicagoland Culver's restaurants, we will help collect more than 1,000 pints of blood this summer and help save over 3,000 lives."
