On Friday, June 21st, 2013, Gear for Goals (G4G) is partnering with the Schaumburg Boomers Baseball Team to present a large scale sports and musical instrument donation drive. On this day, G4G is asking the nearly 7000 fans that will be in attendance to bring along new and used sports equipment and/or musical instruments to donate to children in need. In return, fans will receive a discount for a future Boomers game.

Since Gear for Goals' launch the summer of 2012, over 3,000 pieces of sports equipment and uniforms have been provided to underprivileged children in the Dominican Republic, Kenya, India, Bolivia, and Cuba. Plans continue to impact the lives of over 10,000 kids in need this year with donated sports equipment, uniforms, and musical instruments, and your donation can help bring hope and the love of sports and music to children around the world.

G4G needs your help! Order tickets for $10 online at http://www.boomersbaseball/gearforgoals. Use password 621goals. Volunteers are also needed to help with this event. For more information about volunteering, contact Gear for Goals' Executive Director, Dr. Warren Bruhl at 312.869.2031.
