Dreamweaver International appoints Dr. Warren Bruhl Executive Director of Gear for Goals

Dr. Warren Bruhl was recently appointed as Executive Director of Gear for Goals, a humanitarian project of non-profit Dreamweaver International that brings sports gear and hope to underprivileged children globally. In this position, Dr. Bruhl will oversee efforts to align the need for sport and equipment with children who need it most by working closely with community and professional organizations to collect donations. His duties also require him to supervise Gear for Goals' recently launched Compassion Associate program that affords community members the opportunity to participate by delivering gear to kids in need during their travels and building partnerships to increase distribution capabilities. This position works closely with Dreamweaver International to provide educational, healthcare, and humanitarian aid to people in the Rift Valley of Kenya and Dr. Bruhl will lead efforts to increase Dreamweaver's scope and outreach of humanitarian care. Moreover, Dr. Bruhl will be working closely with the recent partnership developed with Divine Word Missions of Northbrook, Illinois. Dr. Bruhl will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to create a program of sports equipment and musical instrument delivery to thousands of children served through the Divine Word Missions internationally.

Since its inception in 2012, Gear for Goals has provided over 3,500 pieces of sports equipment and uniforms to children in need in Kenya, Cuba, Bolivia, and the Dominican Republic, and efforts continue this year to support an additional 10,000 underprivileged children around the world and locally in the United States.

Dr. Warren Bruhl is a board certified chiropractic pediatric specialist, a member of the Illinois Chiropractic Society and International Chiropractors Association, and a founding member of the ICA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics. Dr. Bruhl has been involved in the development of many successful health care businesses, including building and leading one of the largest chiropractic practices on the North Shore of Chicago, and while in full time practice, authored the Chiropractors Exercise Manual. Dr. Bruhl has an extensive background in coaching youth sports and working with young people and he has made numerous appearances on network and cable television as well as being featured in numerous publications and media articles highlighting his work in healthcare and charitable efforts.

In 2011, Dr. Bruhl left his full-time practice to pursue humanitarian work and he is passionate about transforming the lives of children through love of sports and with leaving a lasting impact and global imprint on the world. Dr. Bruhl has three children and has been married for 27 years.
