Clearbrook President Named Chair of IARF
Clearbrook President and CEO, Carl M. La Mell was named as 2013 chair for The Illinois Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (IARF). IARF is a leading trade association comprised of community based organizations whose missions are to support individuals with disabilities and/or mental illnesses in achieving their maximum independence and live their lives to the fullest in communities throughout Illinois. With more than 80 members serving tens of thousands of individuals and families, IARF is uniquely positioned to advance strong public policy and advocate best practice based on person-centered planning that achieves outcomes.
“The most significant challenge as a board chair is to wisely use the talents of each member,” stated La Mell. “I believe it is essential to bring each of their perspectives to the discussion and if I do that, IARF can be truly transformative in the area of community-based human services in Illinois. I look forward to working with this respected group of individuals.”
La Mell’s term begins in January.
