The Computer-Assisted Genealogy Group of Northern Illinois (CAGGNI) will hold a workshop on the use of the Flip-Pal Scanner. The workshop is free and open to the public. It will be held from 10:30 to noon on Saturday October 13 at the main Schaumburg Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg.

CAGGNI Board members Michelle Wilson and Mary Hoyer will present how to use the scanner. Bring your Flip-Pal, laptop, and items to scan to this hands-on workshop, or just come and watch others. Michelle and Mary will lead the practice of "stitching" together scans from large documents, transferring scans into your computer, and incorporating them into documents of your choice.
