Coffee Business Fosters Global Relationships for FreshGround Roasting

West Chicago, Illinois: October 5, 2012 - Local entrepreneurs Eric and Krista Andersen turned a passion for coffee from a hobby into a business by developing relationships with farmers around the world through foundations and missions dedicated to “Transformational Trading” practices. The result is FreshGround Roasting, an online retail business offering quality coffees from regions in countries such as Honduras, Ethiopia and Papua New Guinea that are freshly roasted, ground and either shipped, delivered or ready for pick up within two days of roasting.

.

An open house, where visitors can sample varieties of international coffees, tour the roasting facility and receive information regarding classes offered in proper brewing and cupping techniques, is planned for Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at 100 Arbor Avenue, West Chicago, to commemorate their first year in business.
