Chef Dave Cooks Up Some Fun at the Museum

These hands on classes are led by Dave Esau, chef and owner of Dave's Specialty Foods, Inc. of Mount Prospect. Join Chef Dave for lively cooking activities at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum. Each class features a different culinary experience for kids ages 4-9. Chef Dave explains healthy food choices all the while having fun together.

Wednesday, June 20, Berry Good! uses different fresh berries in a variety of foods: strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries.

On Wednesday, June 27, Stone Soup includes a reading of the famous story and making our own vegetable soup.

On Wednesday, July 18, Pack a Picnic features making our own picnic foods and sharing a meal on the grounds.

All three programs are from 10:30 a.m. until 12 noon, at the museum, 110 W. Fremont, and cost $22 each. Pick the one you are interested in or sign up for all three. Please be sure to note any food allergies your child may have, or call 847.255.1225 to discuss. Register online at ahmuseum.org under “classes/programs” tab or in person at any Arlington Heights Park District registration office.
