  • Artist Dave Dorman of Elgin, who has been creating drawings for Lucas Films for 20 years, looks at a theme helmet as he draws and signs autographs Wednesday at Fox River Country Day School in Elgin. Darth Vader and two other Star Wars characters were also there as part of the school's annual fund-raising auction. They were portrayed by James Tampa of Aurora, Chris Schwarz of Elgin and Ted O'Sullivan of Naperville. They all belong to a group of volunteers organized as the 501st, who travel to fund-raising events.
