The Elgin school bussed in more than 1400 students from throughout the school district for shows and also had two performances this past weekend for the public. Many VPAA alumni came back to perform in the production this year.

  • Snow plowed from the streets, commuter lots, parking lots, and cul-de-sacs of Wheaton is being piled up at the county fairgrounds. Kevin Sheehan, from the Wheaton Public Works Department is putting the collected snow into even higher piles to make room for more. Asked how much snow is here, Sheehan said laughing, "tons and tons and tons."

Thirty-four area dentists from throughout the Fox Valley offered free services during specific times from Feb. 3-16. Capper, another dentist and 3 hygienists at Sacrey & Sacrey Dentistry saw about 30 patients in 4 hours, doing cleanings, x-rays, fillings and extractions.
