23rd annual PAL-Clearbrook fundraiser held online

The 23rd annual PAL-Clearbrook fundraiser was held online on Sunday, March 29.

The event was originally scheduled for March 15, at the Stonegate in Hoffman Estates, but due to COVID-19, it was canceled.

Thankfully Bob and Marilyn Peterson, who are PAL parents, decided to hold the online, livestream auction in their home.

With the help of professional auctioneer Greg Dillinger, and Bob's A/V friends, it was a huge success.

Friends bid on more than 150 silent auction items and 10 live auction items including Cubs, Bears and Elton John concert tickets and even a half-slab of beef.

The auction also included a raffle for two United Airline domestic business/first class tickets.

The fundraiser supports the PAL Program for adults, 18 and older with significant disabilities and physical challenges.

PAL offers its participants year round, full-day programming aimed at providing experiences, services and supports that promote lifelong learning and community membership.

The PAL-Clearbrook Program is very grateful to have dedicated supporters, friends and family. Through their kindness and generosity, it can continue creating opportunities and opening doors for years to come.
