Get discounts at popular attractions with your library card

For the month of March, the Bartlett Public Library District is focusing on letting its patrons know about a service they offer called the Museum Adventure Pass.

With a BPLD card, patrons have access to free admission or special discounts at a variety of fun and educational locations with a Museum Adventure Pass.

There are a few important details to be aware of before stopping by the library to get one.

BPLD can only give out the passes to its patrons. Reciprocal Borrowing Patrons (patrons that do not have BPLD as a home library) will need to go through their own library in order to take advantage of the Museum Adventure Pass.

In order to receive a pass, patrons need to check them out in person with a BPLD card at the Youth & Teen Services Desk. They are passed out on a first come, first served basis. Patrons will need to physically have their card in hand to get them. The Library won't look the cards up in the system.

There are four passes available for each location at any one time. When one of them expires, it then becomes available to be taken advantage of by a different patron. Please note that it is one pass per household at any given time.

The following is a list of all participating locations:

Air Classic Inc. Museum of Aviation

Aurora Regional Fire Museum

Bess Bower Dunn Museum of Lake County
