Shake off the winter blues; plan your spring, summer getaway at the Feb. 14 Travel Talks!

Fall in love with our exciting destinations at Community Education Travel's (CET) first 2019 Travel Talks! Thursday, Feb. 14 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the Forest View Educational Center, 2121 S. Goebbert Road in Arlington Heights.

Participants will enjoy breakout sessions that provide in-depth information on various destinations. CET staff, volunteers and travel partners will be available to answer any questions about upcoming day trips, motorcoach tours and extended air packages.

The breakout sessions are:

• 1:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. - Nova Scotia/North Dakota/Colorado Trains/Coast of Maine

• 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. - What Benefits Does CET offer?

• 2:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. - Portugal/India

• 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. is Cubs vs. Philadelphia/CET Theatre Day Trips.

CET offers high quality full-service group experiences and will help plan trips for organized groups. Whether you have a group of two, 20 or more, CET experts are ready to customize your trip to fit your traveling style.

"Everyone we worked with, from the beginning inquiry to getting off the bus in the parking lot after the trip, went above and beyond," said Suzanne Abate, who went on the Nashville Country Christmas trip with CET. "We have done a lot of traveling these past 20 years and this experience is rated among the best."

Mary Shulage enjoyed the Shades of Ireland tour. "Our tour guide was excellent," shared Shulage. "He made Ireland's history come alive and it was a beautiful scenery."
