District 214 Community Education rolled out this week its very popular and affordable JUMP-IN FITNESS CLASSES scheduled to run November 5 to December 22. These classes will run for seven weeks at discounted rates. To sign up, visit ce.d214.org or call the Community Education office at 847-718-7700.

BELLY DANCING for FITNESS and FUN CLASSES

This is a non-impact class for all ages. You will tone your muscle and burn calories while exploring this great dance. Class begins with deep yoga-style breathing to enhance the experience and relax the body and mind.

PICKLEBALL CLASSES

Enjoy this paddle sport for all ages and skill levels. It is slower than tennis and played on a smaller court with perforated plastic ball, net and paddle. Double play only and partners will be matched for competitive matches.

PILATES BARRE FUSION CLASSES

WALK LIVE FITNESS CLASSES

This aerobic walk class is conducted using the indoor walking techniques established and proven through the success of Leslie Sansone's Walk at Home Programs. This class will allow participants to walk three miles indoors in a group setting, promoting flexibility and range of motion. Please bring one to two-pound hand weights to class.

Zumba is a distinctive fusion of Latin and international dance music that combines high-energy music with unique moves and combinations. Zumba Gold offers a lower-intensity workout than traditional Zumba with routines that include aerobic and fitness interval training to help tone and sculpt the body. Zumba Gold Toning is a low-impact dance workout incorporating all elements of fitness: cardiovascular, muscular conditioning, flexibility and balance. Bring a set of one to two-pound hand weights (optional), water and a towel.
