Lovell Federal Health Care Center to host its first Tele-Town Hall on March 19

NORTH CHICAGO, Ill. - The Capt. James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center invites veteran and military patients, families, community partners and the public to participate via phone from the convenience of their home in Lovell FHCC's first Community Tele-Town Hall meeting on Mon., March 19.

The first Tele-Town Hall call will provide an opportunity for patients and other stakeholders to engage in a discussion about Lovell FHCC resources and services with FHCC leaders. Over the past two years, fifteen VA medical facilities have utilized this format, which has generated large audiences and meaningful feedback.

This hour-long conference call will be structured like a radio talk show, complete with an opportunity for Q & A. Following a short introduction from Lovell FHCC Interim Director, Michael Kiefer and Deputy Director/Commanding Officer, Capt. Bradford Smith, the public will have the opportunity to ask questions. This town hall affirms the commitment of Lovell FHCC to transparent communication with patients, stakeholders and the community.

"This is a first for Lovell FHCC! We are excited about offering a more convenient way to communicate with patients, stakeholders, and the community. I encourage callers to join the Tele-Town Hall to learn more about Lovell FHCC and what we have to offer veterans, military members and their medically eligible family members," Kiefer said.
