¬The Naperville Chorus is pleased to present our Fall Concert, "Swingin' into Christmas" with the Pete Ellman Big Band. There will be two opportunities to hear this concert, one on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. and one on Sunday December 3rd, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the beautiful Wentz Concert Hall at 171 E. Chicago in Naperville on the campus of North Central College.

The Naperville Chorus has been performing in the western suburbs for over 40 years, and will be teaming up with the Pete Ellman Big Band for this one-of-a-kind concert. The band has played regularly in the Chicagoland Western suburbs at locations such as Mullen's in Lisle and Fitzgerald's in Oak Park. The band also regularly invites student jazz ensembles to join them and will provide guest clinicians.

Pete has performed with nationally known artists such as Wayne Newton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Aretha Franklin, Bob Newhart, Chicago Sinfonietta, and many more.

This concert will feature Jazz and Swing arrangements of Christmas music commissioned for this concert, ranging from sacred tunes such as Mary Did You Know, and I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day to arrangements of secular songs like I Need a little Christmas Now (but with the Pete Ellman Band and not a spinet).
