Chicago Area Live Event Company Joins Fight Against COVID-19

Upstaging, Inc., a Chicago area based live event production company with over 40 years of industry expertise, is repurposing its lighting, trucking and fabrication services to provide valuable resources to help fight the COVID-­19 Pandemic.

"Upon hearing of an impending shortage of hospital facilities, we immediately pivoted our resources to provide additional capabilities to our nation's doctors, nurses, and healthcare facilities so they may better aid in the treatment of patients impacted by COVID-­19," said John Huddleston with Upstaging Inc.

Upstaging, which boasts The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Pearl Jam, WWE, and many others among its clientele, has refocused its skills and resources to support critical needs during the Covid-19 Pandemic".

Semi drivers who normally haul production equipment for international music artists are now running food and supplies for various grocery chains, ready to shift to other needs as they arise.

Stage lighting technicians are prepared to deploy generators, power distribution and emergency lighting for makeshift emergency facilities.

Upstaging's talented scenic carpenters worked over the weekend to develop a PPE face shield and is ramping up to manufacture thousands of units to fill orders from local facilities. Their next product will be privacy screens/room dividers for conversion of larger rooms into treatment centers.
