COD Will Host Free 'Choose Business' Conference and Transfer Expo Nov. 3

College of DuPage will host a free "Choose Business" conference and transfer expo from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3, in the Student Resource Center, Room 2000, on the College's Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

This event is free and open to the public.

During the event, which will feature a keynote presentation by COD Alumnus and entrepreneur Tom Krieglestein, breakout sessions will include business professionals from a variety of disciplines sharing information about career options and the skills needed for success. Representatives from baccalaureate-granting institutions will be on hand to provide information about the transfer process and available options.

The event will also include a business pitch contest from 4 to 6 p.m. hosted by the E2 Emerging Entrepreneurs program and the COD Entrepreneurship Club that will feature prizes ranging from $250 to $1,000 for the top three winners.
