Gear for Goals teams together with Schaumburg Boomers for sports gear donation drive June 21st
On Friday, June 21st, 2013, Gear for Goals (G4G) is partnering with the Schaumburg Boomers Baseball Team to present a large scale sports and musical instrument donation drive. On this day, G4G is asking the nearly 7000 fans that will be in attendance to bring along new and used sports equipment and/or musical instruments to donate to children in need. In return, fans will receive a discount for a future Boomers game.
Since Gear for Goals' launch the summer of 2012, over 3,000 pieces of sports equipment and uniforms have been provided to underprivileged children in the Dominican Republic, Kenya, India, Bolivia, and Cuba. Plans continue to impact the lives of over 10,000 kids in need this year with donated sports equipment, uniforms, and musical instruments, and your donation can help bring hope and the love of sports and music to children around the world.

Gear for Goals is planning a huge media flash mob at the event and welcomes cheerleaders, dancers, teens, and fans who want to join us to make a large media event at the Schaumburg Boomers game.
