COD Cosmetology Program to Host Information Sessions this Spring
The Cosmetology program at College of DuPage will host information sessions for potential students at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, and at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, at the Addison Center, 301 S. Swift Rd. Door 14, in Addison.
These sessions are free and open to the public.
During the sessions, attendees can meet with faculty to discuss degree and certificate options, career choices and job prospects. They will also receive information on admissions, financial aid, scholarships and services for adult learners.

The Cosmetology program at College of DuPage provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the beauty industry. The College offers an A.A.S. degree as well as a certificate in Cosmetology. Students who successfully complete 50 credit hours through the program and pass a practical and written exam will be awarded a certificate from COD which allows graduates to apply for a cosmetology license from the state.
The College of DuPage Cosmetology Program Salon is now open for the spring term. The salon provides hands-on experience to students while offering a full range of salon services to members of the community at a fraction of the cost of professional salons. Under the supervision of licensed instructors, students perform a full range of beauty services including, cuts, styling, color, manicures, pedicures, skin services, facial waxing and more.
