COD to Host 15th Annual Pathophysiology Panorama Nov. 30
College of DuPage will host the 15th Annual Pathophysiology Panorama from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30, in the Health and Science Center Lobby.
This event is free and open to the public.
During this event, diagnostic medical imaging students from the Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Radiography and Sonography programs at COD will display and discuss their in-depth research projects. This year's program will highlight a broad range of diseases and pathologies which have been detected and recorded using various imaging processes, including Alzheimer's disease, Asphyxiating Thoracic Dystrophy, Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum, Marfan Syndrome, Neurofibromatosis, as well as imaging related to suicide.

The Diagnostic Medical Imaging - Nuclear Medicine (DMIN) and Diagnostic Medical Imaging - Radiography (DMIR) programs at College of DuPage are fully-accredited, competency-based programs that prepare students to sit for appropriate certification exams such as those administered by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Students can also earn certificates in Cardiac Interventional Radiography, Computed Tomography, Mammography and Radiation Therapy.
In addition, the College offers an Associate in Applied Science degree program in Sonography as well as certificates in Diagnostic Medical Imaging Sonography (DMIS) and Diagnostic Medical Imaging Vascular Sonography (DMIV), a one-semester post-radiography advanced certificate program available to graduates of an accredited Radiography program. The College also offers a convenient, affordable and streamlined path to earning a B.A. in Healthcare Management for students who have completed an A.A.S. degree in Diagnostic Medical Imaging - Radiography through its 3+1 program partnership with Concordia University.
