ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL (September 22, 2014) - On Tuesday, October 21, 2014 Arlington Toyota-Scion in Palatine will again open its doors to the diversity of cultural cuisine as Clearbrook hosts its 6th Annual Around the World Food Tasting presented by Meijer. Guests will indulge in samples of house specialties from 20 of the area's most popular restaurants and enjoy countless other activities dispersed throughout the showroom floor for merely $35. Proceeds from this exciting evening will benefit over 6,000 children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities supported by Clearbrook.

Local restaurants include: Brazil Express, Circa 57, Coffee Planet, Copper Fiddle Distillery, Gianni's Café, Lou Malnati's, Mago Grill, Miss Dottie's Pound Cake, Pear Tree Catering, Pinstripes, Pure Juice Café, Old Crow Smokehouse, The Ram, Roti Mediterranean Grill, Something's Cooking Catering, and Sweet T's Bakery. Arlington Rental and the Daily Herald are also supporting sponsors of this event.

Additional event highlights include a chance to win a week-long stay in Acapulco, Mexico, a chance to win exciting prizes from the "Pick A Card" game, food demonstrations by Taste of Chicago chef Michael Niksic, a cake walk with delicious specialties from various local bakeries, a large-group photo booth, a cash bar, and a silent auction.
