Summer Music Staycation to Offer Free Music Education for All Ages

This week, Midwest Young Artists Conservatory launches a brand new tuition-free summer music program "Summer Music Staycation" with rich and diverse offerings for students of all ages who will be able to participate from anywhere! MYAC's expert faculty, alongside a team of renowned guest artists and master teachers, will bring their knowledge into the homes of young musicians at no cost to families. Students from MYAC and beyond may join us for this special summer session of unique offerings.

The Summer Music Staycation tuition-free online program offers courses for elementary and high school age orchestra, jazz, choral, flute, and chamber musicians, and adults are welcome to join as well! Students will continue developing and advancing their musicianship over the summer months, and may choose from masterclasses, improvisation courses, literature classes, conducting classes, music history, theory and aural skills, and special sessions on physical fitness for musicians, stage presence and creating your portfolio and resume. MYAC's classical, jazz, and choral programs serve students from grade school beginners through advanced pre-collegiate performers. Families interested in participating for the 2020-21 season can visit mya.org for placement audition information. Auditions are being held virtually for the upcoming season.
