MYAC's holiday concert embraces different cultures

Midwest Young Artists Conservatory's Jazz, Choral and Orchestra students take the stage at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, at Ravinia's Bennett Gordon Hall to present a free holiday concert event for the whole family.

The concert will showcase a variety of multicultural melodies celebrating Kwanzaa, Hanukkah and Christmas.

Students from MYAC's orchestra, jazz and choral programs perform while the audience is invited to join in caroling, complete with a special visit from Santa.

MYAC's 2019-20 season theme, "Music Unites Us," emphasizes the universal language of music shared around the world as a unifying force for good. Student performances during this season will tie into this theme.
