Christian Miss National Pageant coming to Gurnee in July
Christian Miss is a nationwide, faith-based pageant system that exists to celebrate young women ages 4-24, and 2019 recruiting is underway. Through a combination of workshops, on and off-stage competitions, and community service projects, participants from across the nation have the opportunity to develop and/or improve their public speaking, interview, presentation, and performance skills while vying for the title of National Christian Miss. With a strong emphasis on serving others, Christian Miss trains girls to use their unique talents and abilities to impact their communities through various service-oriented activities including Christian Miss' healthy kids and teens platform, Tiny Temples.
Christian Miss is recruiting for six age divisions: Jr. Sweetheart (ages 4-6), Sweetheart (ages 7-9), Pre-Teen (ages 10-12), Jr. Teen (ages 13-15), Teen (ages 16-18), and Miss (ages 19-24). Everyone who enters the pageant receives a sash and crown prior to the pageant. Division winners will receive prize packages that will include a cash award. The 2019 pageant event will be held Wednesday, July 24th - Saturday, July 27th at Great Wolf Lodge in Gurnee, IL. Applications to sign-up can be found at www.christianmiss.com.
