Illinois Landscape Contractors Association elects Tom Lupfer as president for 2018-19

The Illinois Landscape Contractors Association announced Tom Lupfer, president of Lupfer Landscaping in Lyons, will be Illinois President for 2018-19.

Lupfer has served on the ILCA board of directors since 2014 and was elected in June.

Tom has been a member of the Illinois Landscape Contractors Association since opening his business in 1993. Lupfer is a leader in the sustainable landscaping field and served as chairman of the Sustainable Landscaping Committee before joining the board. Tom is very excited to be president and looks forward to making the industry the best it can be.

Drawing on 25 years of successful leadership at Lupfer Landscaping, Tom will work with the Board to uphold the mission of the ILCA and to strengthen and grow the organization.

Other new ILCA officers include Jose Garcia, vice president, Natural Creations Landscaping in Joliet, and Donna Vignocchi Zych, secretary/treasurer, ILT Vignocchi Inc. in Wauconda.
