College of DuPage Celebrates Veterans Day at Assembly and Annual Read-In

College of DuPage employee and veteran Erick Flores sings the "Star Spangled Banner" Nov. 11 as part of a series of events to commemorate Veterans Day. College President and retired Navy Vice Admiral Dr. Ann Rondeau, Board Chairman Deanne Mazzochi and Board Vice Chairman David Olsen, along with faculty, staff and students gathered to celebrate the service of College and community former service members at the annual observance. The event featured a Colors Ceremony, visiting reps from various veteran organizations, an exhibit of artifacts from branches of the Armed Forces and the tenth annual Veterans Read-In.
