Join annual golf outing Aug. 22 supporting manufacturing
Nuts, Bolts, and Thingamajigs, the nonprofit foundation of the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association International, will host its fourth annual GOLF4MFG golf outing fundraiser on Monday, Aug. 22, at Cantigny Golf Course, 27W270 Mack Road in Wheaton.
Arrive at Cantigny Golf for the tour at 7:45 a.m., followed by a tour of Clipper Industries Inc. in Itasca at 9 a.m. Golf registration for non-tour attendees will begin at 10 a.m., followed by two 30-minute rounds of golf demo at 11 and 11:30 a.m. A buffet lunch will be held at noon. It will be followed by a golf scramble, shotgun start, at 1 p.m. The cocktail reception will be 5 to 6 p.m., followed by the dinner and awards presentation from 6 to 8 p.m.
The fundraiser supports the future of manufacturing. NBT awards annual scholarships to students pursuing manufacturing careers and grants for summer manufacturing camps.
Cost is $225 and includes an industry tour, golf demo, buffet lunch, greens fees, cart rental, cocktail reception, dinner, contests, prizes, and more.
