Lake County 4-H Sailing Spin Club
To kick off the 2015 summer, 4-H will be bringing back the 6 week, 4-H Sailing Spin Club. This club will be open to all current enrolled 4-Hers/families and those that would like to enroll. The cost will be free for 4-H members and $26.00 for non-4-H members.
This club will provide an opportunity for everyone to learn the fundamentals of safe boating and how a sailboat works. The team will learn to work together and take turns with the steering of the boat, handling of the engine and hoist and dropping of the sails. It will also provide prospective members a chance to learn more the Lake County 4-H programs.
If you know of anyone, who may be interested, please help spread the word about the 4-H Sailing Spin Club and encourage them to attend.
4-H's goal is to teach life skills through the caring support of adult volunteers and mentors, who inspire young people to work collaboratively, take the lead on their own projects and set and achieve goals with confidence. 4-H'ers charts their own course, explore important issues and define their place in the world. 4-H'ers stand up for themselves and their communities.
