SAINT HUBERT SCHOOL SIXTH GRADERS DARE TO TAKE THE CHALLENGE

On Monday, February 3rd, the sixth grade students at Saint Hubert School celebrated their successful participation in the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program. Hoffman Estates Police Officer John Bending led the ten week program which focuses on making safe, responsible, and right choices. Each student was asked to write an essay, capturing what he/she learned through this program. Stephanie Fowle was honored with a special award for her thesis, and every student received a unique certificate, noting his/her successful completion in the DARE program. Hoffman Estates Mayor William McLeod joined in on the celebration, supporting the students' positive commitment.
