Western Illinois University offers fall application fee waiver July 4-7

MACOMB, IL -- Students looking for just the right university for Fall 2019 are in luck, as Western Illinois University continues to accept applications for new students, and between July 4-7, WIU is waiving the $30 application fee for Fall 2019 applicants. Additional orientation sessions will be held Thursday, Aug. 1 for incoming freshmen and Friday, Aug. 2 for incoming transfer students.

In addition to the application fee waiver, Western Commitment and Promise Plus scholarships are automatically awarded to qualified new freshmen and transfer students. WIU's Cost Guarantee means students will not see an increase in tuition, fees, campus housing and meal plan rates over their four years of enrollment.

To apply to WIU, visit wiu.edu/apply. If applying between July 4-7, simply select the fee waiver option on the payment screen.
Students who have been accepted, but have not yet attended an orientation and registration event can register for Aug. 1 or 2 through their STARS account at wiu.edu/STARS.

"Western is here for you with outstanding academic experiences that include thought-provoking classes, significant research opportunities and engaging faculty and staff, as well as numerous award-winning student activities and clubs that fit almost any interest," said WIU Acting President Martin Abraham. "We look forward to having you as a part of our Leatherneck family."
