Fox Valley Antiques Show & Sale returns to St. Charles March 11-12

It was spring 1957, when four dozen dedicated antiques dealers formed the Chicago Suburban Antiques Dealers Association and produced their first Spring Fox Valley Antiques Show & Sale.

Unbelievably, 60 years later they're still stacked and have great legs. Of course we're talking about their merchandise!

From stacks of colorful pantry boxes to early tables with shapely legs, a great variety of 18th-, 19th- and early-20th century antiques will be available at the 60th Spring Fox Valley Antiques Show and Sale on March 11-12 in St. Charles. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 11, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 12, at the Kane County Fairgrounds, 525 S. Randall Road in St. Charles. Enter on Randall Road between Routes 38 and 64.

Claim your one-of-a-kind treasure before Pottery Barn replicates it! Good design never ages - that's why antiques are always in style and everything old is new once again.

Fifty-five experienced antiques dealers traveling from 18 states and Canada will offer furnishings from our past, helping you create exciting and refreshing settings to compliment any decorating scheme. See the list of dealers at www.CSADA.com.

A new twist, visit "Booth 60," created to celebrate CSADA's 60th anniversary. "Booth 60" will feature affordable, carefully-curated antiques priced at under $200. There's even an anniversary gift for those who make a purchase in "Booth 60" - free admission to the Fall Fox Valley Antiques Show!

As an added bonus, introduce a student to antiques! Those 25 years or younger or with a student ID are invited to celebrate with them by attending the show at no charge!

Held indoors at the bright and spacious Kane County Fairgrounds' Prairie Events Center, dealers sell from their walled and papered booths, their offerings arranged in room settings, many with an emphasis on decorative and graphic design. A juried show assures authenticity, allowing customers to buy with confidence.

Catered lunch with comfortable seating is available and there is plenty of free parking. There is an ATM on premises.

Produced by the Chicago Suburban Antiques Dealers Association, a nonprofit organization, the admission of $10 benefits local historical preservation and educational endeavors. Get a discount of $2 off one or two admissions with this news release.
