Daily Herald reportThe Jacobs girls volleyball team bounced back from a Game 1 defeat Tuesday night to knock off Crystal Lake South 22-25, 25-1, 25-15 in Fox Valley Conference Valley Division action.The Golden Eagles (23-11, 7-4) were led by Alyssa Ehrhardt with 14 kills and 14 digs while Maris Smith added 9 kills and 10 digs. Nikki Madoch also contributed offensively with 11 kills.Bartlett d. Lake Park 25-15, 25-22: The Hawks (11-19, 2-4) earned an Upstate Eight Valley victory as they defeated the Lancers in straight sets. Lexie Mason (10 digs) and Katie Hrbacek (11 digs) paced the Hawks both offensively and defensively with 15 and 11 kills, respectively, while Tori Burke added 27 assists.

Burlington Central d. Marengo 25-17, 25-16: Samantha Bohne (14 digs) and Stephanie Sipinski (12 digs) led the way defensively for the Rockets (21-13, 8-1) as they earned a Big Northern East victory. Lexie Bouza led the offense with 8 kills while Allie O#146;Reilly added 18 assists.Elgin Academy d. Willows Academy 25-15, 11-285, 25-19: The Hilltoppers (13-12) wrapped up the regular season with a 3-game victory over Willows Academy at home. Bridgette Keslinke (9 digs) recorded 10 kills while Claire Fluegel (10 digs) and Alysson Whittmeyer add 6 kills each. Angie Martinez chipped in 20 assists in the victory.

Harvest Christian Academy d. Rockford Christian Life 25-8, 25-20: The Lions earned an easy victory over Rockford Christian Life in 2 games. Sydney Doby paced the Lions as she racked up 8 kills, 6 aces, and 5 digs. Kali Cramer added 4 aces while Katelyn Floyd added 8 assists.Cary-Grove d. Dundee-Crown 25-11, 25-18: The Trojans (30-4, 10-1) made quick work of the Chargers in this FVC Valley match. Ashley Rosch paced the Trojans with 9 kills and 8 digs while Sam Selsky added 14 assists. Sheila Wilhelmi recorded 6 blocks and Korey Kronforst knocked down 4 aces. The Chargers (6-23, 0-11) were led defensively by Cassie Sommers with 11 digs while Cori Eischen added 7 assists.
