Leukemia Research Foundation Hosts Blood Cancer Q & A on Tuesday, May 19

The Leukemia Research Foundation, in partnership with the Cancer Wellness Center, is proud to present, the Blood Cancer Q & A with Dr. Jayesh Mehta on Tuesday, May1 9, 2020 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. This is a virtual program that will be held online. Patients, survivors, caregivers and families living with a leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma or myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) diagnosis are invited to participate.

The featured presenter is Jayesh Mehta, M.D., who will answer questions about treatment of hematologic malignancies, stem cell transplantation, and infection prevention precautions in immunocompromised patients (including COVID-19). Questions can be submitted ahead of time at registration or

live during the event.

Dr. Mehta is the Chez Family Professor of Myeloma Research at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, and Director, Stem Cell Transplantation and Cell Therapy Program, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Robert H Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center.
