Sign up for Marklund's third annual 'Run, Walk or Roll'

Marklund will hold its third annual "Run, Walk or Roll" on Sunday, April 26.

This annual 5K/1-mile fundraising event kicks off springtime and is open to adults and kids of all abilities - from walkers and runners to those who use assistive devices like wheelchairs, racing wheelchairs and standers.

Everything starts and finishes at the Marklund Philip Center, 164 S. Prairie Ave., Bloomingdale.

At 7:55 a.m., the wheelchair race start, followed at 8 a.m. by the 5K/1-mile walk/run.

Medals awarded to top 5K finishers for males and females in various age categories.

The Early Bird registration rates are: 1 Mile: $25; 5K: $35. Event shirts guaranteed until April 1.

Fundraise to win (applicable to individuals only).

Fundraise $500 or more for entry into the grand prize raffle of two Southwest Airline ticket vouchers! Offering flights to 102 destinations in 40 states, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean ($600 cash value).

Each individual that raises $250 or more will receive an exclusive "Top Fundraiser" event shirt. To secure your shirt, this fundraising goal must be met by March 30. Note, your fundraising shirt will be in placement of your event shirt, not in addition to.

Those that raise $100 or more will be entered to win Powerbeats 3 Wireless Headphones.
