Jacobs 4, Crystal Lake Central 0: The Golden Eagles (1-0) wasted little time taking control of the game Thursday afternoon as they scored within the first 6 minutes of the game and never looked back. Monica Orjeula recorded 2 goals while Kylie Dennison and Cassidy Sherman each scored 1 goal. Alyssa Barnard and Alex Williams combined for the shutout victory with a combined 9 saves.

Huntley 6, Woodstock North 0: Rachel Chapius recorded a hat trick as she led the Red Raiders (1-0) to an easy victory over Woodstock North on the road. Emily Konior, Aimee Wronski, and Corinne Wronski provided the other 3 goals for the Red Raiders. Sara Hoffman and Kaytlyn Owens persevered the shutout in goal.

Elgin Academy 6, Harvest Christian 1: The Hilltoppers (2-0) cruised to victory as they defeated Harvest Christian at home. Lauren Steimle recorded 4 goals on the afternoon while Samayra Sibdiqui and Ashley Barnes accounted for the Hilltoppers' other 2 goals. Bianca Swegler saved 7 shots on goal.

Bartlett 2, Oswego 0: The Hawks (1-1) recorded a goal in each half to secure their first victory of the season over visiting Oswego. Nicole Gobbo recorded the Hawks' first goal just 5:15 into the game, as she took a feed from Lisa Palmer and found the back of the net. Palmer then recorded a goal of her own, scoring off a Sam Barone assist for the final goal of the match.

Woodstock 2, Dundee-Crown 0: The Chargers (0-1) were shut out as they fell in their season-opener on the road to Woodstock. Deanna Libicz recorded 4 saves in goal for Dundee-Crown.

Cary-Grove 5, Johnsburg 0: Corey Kronforst turned in a hat trick for the Trojans as they scored 4 first half goals en route to a victory on the road. Ashley Gustafson picked up an assist and scored the Trojans' other goal while Kronforst, Brittany Krowning, and Alyssa Ptaszek also recorded 1 assist apiece. Paige Wooldridge and Paige Lincicum persevered the shutout in goal for the Trojans.

Crystal Lake South 3, Grayslake North 0: The Gators (1-1) recorded not only their first victory of the season, but they also earned the shutout as well. Karli Schumaker, Ashley Ross, and Christina Szocka each tallied a goal for the Gators while Elizabeth Quinn recorded 5 saves in goal.
