4th Annual Valentines for Veterans

Midwest Veterans Closet - serving Veterans, active military, and families

Sending Valentines is just one more way we can let Veterans know how much we appreciate everything they did and do.

Midwest Veterans Closet, a Rapid Response organization where it is Veterans Day EVERYDAY, is taking the lead in making sure hospitalized Veterans, at-risk Veterans - women and men, active military, and troops abroad know they are loved and not forgotten. One way to do this is to send them a Valentine greeting for Valentine's Day. After all, the price of freedom can be seen at any VA hospital.

Every day, with your help, Midwest Veterans Closet serves Veterans, active military, and families. We welcome them with a warm smile and friendly greeting, give a listening ear, serve them with care, and give an honest compliment, all of which has proven to turn lives around.

We are asking individuals, school teachers, and other social group leaders to make (or buy) Valentine cards for Veterans to let them know they are special and that we are grateful for their service. Your small act of kindness will bring miles of smiles and boost morale more than you can imagine.

Treat them like the heroes they are. Bring, mail, or ship Valentines for Veterans to Midwest Veterans Closet and our Veteran staff and volunteers will deliver them to VA Hospitals, warming many a brave heart.
