Palatine Concert Band to feature singalong, visit with Santa Dec. 13

The Palatine Concert Band, under the direction of Dr. Rick Lowe, will present its annual Holiday Concert on Friday December 13, at 7:00 pm in Cutting Hall, 150 East Wood Street in Palatine.

Special seasonal music appropriate for all ages will be performed and for the children, a special visitor will appear from the North Pole. “This is a perfect holiday activity for the whole family”, said Carin Zachar, president of the band. We have some great holiday favorite songs and sing-alongs on the program for you.” The program includes: A John Rutter Christmas, arr. John Noble, The Sussex Mummers' Christmas Carol by Percy Grainger, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, arr. Larry Clark, Carol of the Bells, arr. Sean O'Loughlin, and Sleigh Ride and A Christmas Festival by Leroy Anderson.

Tickets are $10.00 for adults, $7.00 for student/seniors, and children 5 and under are free.
