Get tips on finding manuscript archives at July 10 genealogy meeting
The Lake County Genealogical Society will hold its monthly meeting from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, at the Mundelein Park District, 1401 N. Midlothian Road, Mundelein.
Sarah Kirby will present the Program “Finding Manuscript Archives.”
Kirby will review why archives are important, the thought process one should use when searching, and a couple of useful online tools for finding archives (ArchiveGrid, NUCMC, and WorldCat).
She will also touch on some useful print resources.
