West Chicago's call for crafters for Blooming Fest

West Chicago, Illinois: February 16, 2012 - Although it may not feel like it yet, spring is on the way and organizers of West Chicago's Blooming Fest are gearing up for another fantastic downtown event which will take place on Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Due to popular demand, the event has been extended by two hours this year to give attendees more time to shop and dine downtown.

Currently, the focus is on attracting crafters, artists and garden-related vendors for the 80-plus booth spaces that will occupy Main Street, along with downtown businesses, live entertainment and children's activities.

Organizers are also looking for vendors of hand-made pet products. As always, the West Chicago Garden Club will be on hand for their annual plant sale and to share their green-thumb know-how.

Blooming Fest has grown in size and stature and draws people to West Chicago from many surrounding suburbs. It is presented by the City of West Chicago and various community groups and individuals.
