Administer Justice to host annual banquet Oct. 19

Administer Justice will host its annual banquet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, at The Stonegate Conference and Banquet Centre in Hoffman Estates. Doors open at 6 p.m. Register by Monday, Oct. 16.

The "Lifted Up" event will feature a full course dinner, uplifting client stories, inspiring testimonials and special musical guest Fatai.

Fatai, a singer-songwriter from Melbourne, Australia, was a semifinalist in the first season of "The Voice." She has made several appearances as worship leader at Willow Creek Church in South Barrington and is one of the contributors to Willow Creek's new six-song EP "Only God." She recently concluded her national fall tour "Live in the Moment."

Eric Nelson, executive director, will provide an important update on Administer Justice and other information on justice issues affecting our local community.

Administer Justice is a nonprofit organization, providing free civil legal assistance, financial counseling, legal education and conflict coaching. The organization, headquartered in Elgin, serves thousands of low income families each year with the help of hundreds of volunteers including volunteer attorneys and other legal professionals.

There is no cost to attend this fundraiser but registration is required.
