Elgin Master Chorale to host open rehearsal Sept. 12

The Elgin Master Chorale invites you to participate in a no-audition, no-RSVP open rehearsal from 7 to 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, at Elgin Community College Arts Center, Building H, 1700 Spartan Drive in Elgin.

All participants will rehearse with the full chorale selections of music featured in the upcoming season, including works by Bach and Mozart.

Attendees are encouraged to stay and mingle with chorale members at a special post-rehearsal reception.

This open rehearsal is a perfect way for anyone interested in learning more about the Elgin Master Chorale to experience first-hand what a rehearsal is like.

There will be greeters and signs to guide you to the rehearsal. If you decide you are interested in joining the Elgin Master Chorale, they will schedule a 5-minute audition with you for the following week. For details, call Elizabeth Niemeier at eniemeier@elgin.edu or (847) 214-7225.
