Woodlands Academy Alumna Jenny Sullivan Sanford Gives Keynote Address at Career Day

Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart alumna Jenny Sullivan Sanford (class of 1980) will give the keynote address during Career Day Jan. 31 at the school, 760 E. Westleigh Road, Lake Forest.

Career Day is open to the public from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and will feature three other Sacred Heart alumnae. Career Day takes place every other year and is designed to showcase strong, professional alumnae to current students to expose them to various career paths.

Sanford will kick off the event at 8:30 a.m.; she was born and raised in Winnetka and is a graduate of Georgetown University. She worked six years at a Wall Street banking firm before being campaign manager for her then-husband. Sanford published a memoir, “Staying True,” an instant national bestseller, in 2010.

Other speakers include: Sherree Burruss, Woodlands Academy class of 2008; Kiki Hamilton Clark, Villa Duchesne class of 1982; and Sarah Personette, Woodlands Academy class of 1997.

Burruss is sports anchor/reporter for ABC 17 in Columbia, Missouri.

Clark is a realtor with Prudential Rubloff. She has an extensive background in commercial property management and brokerage, plus community service.

Personette is president of Universal McCann advertising agency. She leads cross-channel buying and planning, analytics, custom content, strategy and business development on all U.S. accounts.
